1st Prize for her Work "Day Dreaming" in the Australian Flora and Fauna Section,

Ekka 1st and 2nd Pastel Section
Lyn was awarded  both 1st and 2nd prize in the Pastel Section of the Royal Queensland Show (EKKA) Art Exhibition 2015, for her paintings titled "Man from Safala" and "Innocence".

Lyn's  has again been selected as the Grand Champion of the Fine Arts section of The RNA Brisbane Exhibition  (the EKKA)  for her portrait "He's my brother".

Finalist for 5 Consecutive Years

The Judges of the Mortimore Art Prize have selected Lyn's Portrait "Eddie From Laos"  as one of 20 finalists in 2010

Artworks Published

Lyn Has Recently Had Her Artworks Featured In A Book "40 Eyes 20 Points Of View". Also a publication featuring only lyn's works is planned to be published about mid 2010.

Lyn Wins Art Show for 5th Time

Lyn awarded top award for 5th time at Jimboomba Quota art show. Her portrait painting "The Snake Seller" received 1st prize.  

Solo Exhibition

Lyn selected to hold 6 week Solo Exhibition at "The Escape Gallery" in Murwillumbah NSW.

Lyn Gains Master Pastelist Status
The Pastel Society of Australia voted last night to raise Lyn to Master Pastelist Status.


Educational Qualifications

Lyn Green is an artist and teacher, who completed a Diploma of Arts in 1980 and later worked for the Qld Education Dept as a teacher for many years after completing a Grad. Diploma in Teaching.

Lyn began drawing at a early age, receiving recognition for her abilty and the quality of her works
Upon leaving school Lyn gained employment in the "Clothing Design Industry" with "Harvey Graham" (Bridal Wear/Exclusive Dress Design).
After gaining Degrees in Fine Art and Teaching in early 80's taught at a number of High School in the Brisbane, Logan and Gold Coast Regions, while also continuing to study and practice her art.
In the early 1990 Lyn began private teaching for both Children and Adult Students at her Gallery and various other venues in the area, with a number of her students receiving awards and prize for their work.
Since 2000 Lyn has dedicated herself to a full time career as an artist. Lyn teaches from her gallery in Tamborine and through Workshops held at various times and places through out the year.
Throughout her career her artworks have received many awards and prizes. Lyn works both freelance and on commission paintings.
